Seepex® Metering Pump Components

Seepex® MD Series Pump Parts

Model-based replacement rotors, stators, drive shafts, coupling components, joint parts and seals for supported Seepex® MD metering pumps.

MD replacement selection begins with the complete pump model, stage configuration and required component. Photographs and accurate dimensions help confirm low-flow pumping-element and drive details.

Replacement Parts for Seepex® MD Metering Pumps

Seepex® MD pumps are associated with controlled low-flow metering and dosing service. Their progressive cavity pumping principle provides nearly pulse-free positive-displacement flow, but the small pumping-element geometry makes correct model, stage and dimensional identification especially important.

The rotor and stator must operate as a matched dimensional system. Internal wear, elastomer changes, corrosion or an incorrect interference relationship can affect slip, starting torque, repeatability and pressure capability.

ACCA reviews supported MD replacement components using the complete model, component type, dimensions, photographs and service conditions. A drawing or sample may be requested for uncommon, modified or legacy configurations.

MD identification rule: send the complete MD model and identify the required component. Include overall dimensions, connection details and clear photographs whenever possible.

Seepex® MD Model Coverage

These model designations represent common MD metering configurations reviewed within the aftermarket market. Final availability and fit must be confirmed for the complete model and component requested.

Very-Low-Flow MD Models

Small pumping elements used where controlled dosing and repeatability are important.

Additional MD Configurations

Other MD, MDF, MDC, MDT and related constructions are reviewed individually using complete model and dimensional information.

MD Rotor and Stator Selection

Selection Item Information Needed Why It Matters
Complete MD model Every letter, number and suffix Separates size, geometry, stages and construction variants
Stage configuration Complete model suffix and pumping-element information Affects pressure capability and rotor/stator length
Rotor construction Material, coating, dimensions and condition Affects corrosion, wear and rotor-stator interference
Stator elastomer Known compound, fluid, temperature and cleaning chemistry Affects compatibility, swelling, hardness and service life
Flow requirements Required flow, speed range and application Supports review of metering performance and installed geometry
Seal arrangement Photographs, shaft dimensions and seal details Distinguishes mechanical-seal and packed configurations

How to Request Seepex® MD Parts

1. Record the full model

Provide every letter, number and suffix shown in the MD designation.

2. Name the component

State whether the request is for a rotor, stator, shaft, coupling part, joint item, seal or another component.

3. Photograph the part

Include full-length and close-up views of connections, ends, seal surfaces and distinguishing features.

4. Supply dimensions

Provide overall length, diameters, connection measurements and other available critical dimensions.

5. Describe the process

Include fluid, temperature, pressure, speed, cleaning agents and known material requirements.

Typical MD Metering Applications

Frequently Asked Questions

What information identifies a Seepex® MD replacement part?

Send the complete MD model, component required, clear photographs and critical dimensions. Include operating and material information when requesting a rotor, stator or seal.

Does the numeric MD size identify the complete part?

No. Stage configuration, material, joint construction, seal arrangement and dimensions can vary. Provide the full model designation.

What MD components can ACCA supply?

Supported components may include rotors, stators, drive shafts, coupling and joint parts, seals, packing components and selected casing items.

Why must an MD rotor and stator be evaluated together?

Their dimensional relationship controls sealing, slip, starting torque and metering performance. Wear or an incorrect match can reduce repeatability.

How is the correct MD stator elastomer selected?

Selection should consider the complete fluid, temperature, pressure, solids, cleaning chemistry and previous service history.

Can ACCA review a special or obsolete MD component?

Yes, when sufficient photographs, measurements, drawings or a physical sample are available to evaluate the required form, fit and function.
