Replacement Parts for Seepex® BN Pumps

The Seepex® BN range uses a close-coupled block construction in which the pump drive train and pumping element form a compact assembly. The rotor turns eccentrically within the stator while the articulated drive components transmit torque and accommodate the rotor motion.

Replacement selection depends on more than the nominal size. The complete BN model, pumping-element geometry, stage configuration, metal construction, stator elastomer, sealing arrangement and critical dimensions can all affect fit and performance.

ACCA reviews supported BN components around the installed model and service conditions. Process fluid, temperature, solids, abrasion, differential pressure and operating speed are particularly important when selecting the rotor, stator and seal materials.

BN identification rule: provide the complete BN model and state whether the request is for a rotor, stator, coupling rod, drive shaft, joint component, seal or another part. Include photographs and dimensions whenever available.

Seepex® BN Model and Geometry Coverage

The following sizes carry forward the established coverage published by ACCA. Always provide the complete model designation because the size and stage suffix alone may not identify every construction detail.

BN 6L Geometry

Long-geometry configurations commonly used for industrial transfer.

BN 1-6LBN 2-6LBN 5-6LBN 10-6LBN 17-6LBN 26-6LBN 35-6LBN 52-6LBN 70-6LBN 100-6LBN 130-6LBN 200-6L

BN 6 Geometry

Single-stage size families represented in ACCA’s established coverage.

BN 12 Geometry

Multi-stage configurations requiring confirmation of full model and pumping element.

BN 003-12BN 006-12BN 012-12BN 025-12BN 0.5-12BN 2-12BN 5-12BN 10-12BN 17-12BN 35-12BN 130-12

BN 24 Geometry

Higher-stage configurations where dimensional and material confirmation is especially important.

Model coverage note: a listed model indicates an established ACCA replacement-parts family, not that every material or construction variant is identical. Availability and fit are confirmed for the specific component requested.

BN Rotor and Stator Selection

Selection Item Information Needed Why It Matters
Complete BN model Every letter, number and suffix shown in the model Separates sizes, geometries, stages and construction variants
Required component Rotor, stator, drive component, seal or other part Determines which dimensions and construction details must be verified
Stator elastomer Known compound, process fluid and temperature Affects chemical compatibility, swelling, hardness and service life
Rotor construction Metal, coating, dimensions and surface condition Affects corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and rotor-stator fit
Operating conditions Fluid, solids, pressure, speed and temperature Supports material selection and evaluation of premature wear

How to Request Seepex® BN Parts

1. Record the model

Send the complete BN designation exactly as it appears on the equipment documentation or nameplate.

2. Identify the component

State whether you need a rotor, stator, coupling rod, drive shaft, joint part, seal or another component.

3. Add photographs

Provide clear overall and close-up views showing connections, ends, keyways, sealing surfaces and wear.

4. Add dimensions

Include overall length, diameters, connection measurements and other critical dimensions available.

5. Describe the service

Provide fluid, temperature, solids, pressure, speed and known material requirements.

Common BN Service Applications

Pulp and Paper

Stock, coatings, starch, mill sludge and process additives.

Food and Beverage

Viscous and shear-sensitive products where suitable materials and sanitation requirements are confirmed.

General Industrial Transfer

Oils, coatings, waste streams and other viscous or solids-bearing fluids.

Frequently Asked Questions

What information identifies a Seepex® BN replacement part?

Start with the complete BN model and required component. Add clear photographs and dimensions. A drawing or sample may be needed for uncommon or modified constructions.

Does the BN size alone identify the correct part?

No. The size and stage suffix may not identify every material, seal, connection or construction detail. Provide the complete model.

What BN parts can ACCA supply?

Supported parts may include rotors, stators, coupling rods, drive shafts, joint components, mechanical seals, packing parts and other wear components.

Should a worn BN rotor and stator be inspected together?

Yes. Their dimensional relationship creates the pumping seal, so wear on either component can affect slip, capacity and pressure performance.

How is a BN stator elastomer selected?

Selection considers the complete process fluid, temperature, solids, abrasion, cleaning agents, differential pressure and prior service history.

Can ACCA evaluate a special or obsolete BN component?

Yes, when sufficient photographs, measurements, drawings or a physical sample are available to evaluate form, fit and function.
