Moyno 500 Series Engineering Overview
The Moyno® 500 Series is a family of progressive cavity pumps used for smooth positive-displacement transfer of viscous, abrasive, solids-containing and shear-sensitive fluids. The family includes different drive and mounting configurations depending on model and application; the common service architecture uses a flexible joint to transmit torque between the drive shaft and rotor.
Flexible-Joint Drive
The flexible joint accommodates the eccentric rotor motion while transmitting torque through the pump drive train.
Multiple Configurations
Housing, rotor metallurgy, sealing arrangement and drive configuration vary by complete pump model. Use the full model and serial number when selecting parts.
Application-Specific Materials
ACCA supports multiple metallic and elastomer options for demanding industrial applications. Nylon configurations are not included in this catalog.

500 Series Internal Construction
Service the Drive Train as a System
During overhaul, inspect the shaft, flexible joint, rotor, bearings and sealing components together. Wear in one drive-train component can affect adjacent parts and pump reliability.
Engineered Material Options
ACCA Pumps manufactures compatible replacement components using a range of elastomers, stainless steels, alloy materials and surface treatments selected for chemical compatibility, abrasion resistance, operating temperature and service conditions. Standard 500 Series documentation includes NBR, EPDM and FPM stator options. Nylon pump configurations are excluded from this catalog.
