Allweiler® AE Series Pump Parts
Replacement rotors, stators, driving shafts, joint shafts, joint components, seals, packing and bearing parts for supported Allweiler® AE.H and AE.V eccentric screw pumps.
AE replacement selection requires the complete type code because stage arrangement, mechanical system, size, bearing construction, flange design, shaft seal and material codes affect the installed configuration.
Allweiler® AE Eccentric Screw Pump Components
The AE family uses a rotating eccentric screw rotor and fixed stator to form sealed chambers that progress continuously from suction to discharge. The design handles liquid to highly viscous fluids and may be applied to neutral, aggressive, abrasive, gas-containing, fibrous or solids-bearing products when the specific pump and materials are suitable.
Torque passes from the driving shaft through the joint shaft to the rotor. Encapsulated bolt joints accommodate the rotor’s eccentric motion. The pressure casing, stator and suction casing are held together by external clamping screws, while the shaft-seal housing is arranged between the suction casing and bearing bracket.

AE Type-Code Information Needed
| Type-Code Area | Examples of Information | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Stage arrangement | 1+1, 2, 2+2, 4 or 4+4 | Identifies pumping-element length and pressure-stage configuration |
| Mechanical system | H or V | Separates the published 24-bar and 48-bar system families |
| Pump size | 12 through 2700 depending on system | Relates to the theoretical delivery designation and component geometry |
| Bearing design | Horizontal or permitted vertical construction | Affects bearing-unit and driving-shaft components |
| Branch arrangement | DIN, ANSI or special flange and branch position | Affects casing and installation geometry |
| Shaft sealing | Stuffing box or mechanical seal design | Determines housing, shaft sleeve, gland and sealing components |
| Materials and variants | Casing, shaft, rotor, stator, sleeve and seal selections | Supports chemical, abrasive and temperature compatibility |

Rotor, Stator and Joint Material Direction
Rotor Constructions
Published directions include stainless and wear-resistant materials, hard chromium plating, ductile hard chromium plating, metallic coatings and special materials.
Stator Elastomers
Published material families include natural rubber, NBR, CR, CSM, FKM, HNBR, silicone, polyurethane, polyethylene, reinforced PTFE, EPDM and special materials.
Joint Sleeves
Published sleeve-material families include NBR, CR, CSM, FKM, butyl rubber and special materials.
Shaft Sealing Arrangements
AE designs may use uncooled, cooled or heated stuffing boxes, or uncooled or cooled single- or double-acting mechanical seals. Seal housings are modular within a size, but the installed arrangement and dimensions must be confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between AE.H and AE.V?
The published H mechanical system is rated as a family up to 24 bar delivery pressure, while the V family is rated up to 48 bar. The exact model and operating limits must still be confirmed.
What do the AE stage designations mean?
The published arrangements include 1+1, 2, 2+2, 4 and 4+4 stages. They distinguish pumping-element construction and family pressure capability.
Are even-wall and uneven-wall stators interchangeable?
Do not assume interchangeability. The complete AE series, size, stage arrangement, geometry, dimensions and operating requirements must be confirmed.
What AE parts can ACCA evaluate?
Supported components may include rotors, stators, driving shafts, joint shafts, joint parts, mechanical seals, packing components, bearings, shaft parts, gaskets and casing-related wear items.
Can ACCA identify an AE component from photographs and dimensions?
Yes, particularly when the full type code is incomplete. A drawing or physical sample may still be needed for special or modified constructions.
Should brochure maximums be used to size an installed AE pump?
No. Use the individual pump curve, complete documentation and application conditions. The family values shown here are preliminary limits only.
