Progressive Cavity Pumps for Cement Slurry & Grout
Positive-displacement pumping for pumpable cementitious slurries, grout and solids-bearing mixtures requiring controlled flow and pressure.
Controlled displacement for dense abrasive mixtures
Cement slurry and grout can combine high density, suspended solids and abrasive particles with a limited working time. Progressive cavity pumps can provide controlled flow against changing system resistance when the mixture remains pumpable and the pump is selected for solids, pressure, inlet conditions and cleaning requirements.
Abrasion and working time require special attention
Particle hardness and concentration influence rotor/stator wear, while density and viscosity affect suction performance. Pump displacement and speed should provide the required flow without unnecessarily increasing sliding velocity. The cleaning method and the risk of material curing inside the pump must also be considered.
