Progressive Cavity Pumps for Cement, Lime & Slurry
Positive-displacement pumping for cement slurry, grout, abrasive mineral slurry and lime service where controlled flow, solids handling and dependable pressure capability are critical.

Why progressive cavity pumps fit difficult slurry service
A progressive cavity pump moves fluid through sealed cavities formed between a helical rotor and resilient stator. As the rotor turns, those cavities progress from suction to discharge, producing positive-displacement flow that is approximately proportional to pump speed.
ACCA progressive cavity pumps are especially useful where the pumped product is viscous, abrasive, solids-bearing or changes consistency during the process. Their steady, low-pulsation delivery also makes them well suited to controlled transfer, grout placement and lime-slurry service.
Engineering advantages in cement and slurry applications
Progressive cavity technology combines solids-handling capability with predictable displacement. Pump output can be adjusted through speed control, including VFD operation, while pressure capability is established through the selected rotor/stator geometry and number of stages.
Rotor coating, stator elastomer, pump materials and drive sizing should be matched to the slurry chemistry, abrasiveness, solids concentration and differential pressure.
Cement, lime & slurry applications
Cement Slurry & Grout
Controlled pumping for cementitious slurry, grout transfer, injection and placement.
Lime Slurry Pumps
Use ACCA’s established lime-slurry application page for abrasive lime transfer, feed, materials and system-selection guidance.
Abrasive Mineral Slurry
Solids-bearing mineral slurry service with emphasis on abrasion, materials and conservative operating speed.
What ACCA needs to select the pump
Provide required flow, discharge and suction pressure, solids concentration, maximum particle size, density, viscosity, temperature, pH or chemical composition, operating hours and available suction conditions. For settling or abrasive mixtures, also tell us whether the slurry remains agitated and whether solids concentration changes during the operating cycle.
These details allow ACCA to evaluate pump displacement, operating speed, staging, rotor and stator materials, elastomer compatibility, drive torque and connection requirements.
Built around serviceability
ACCA supports progressive cavity pumps as complete pumping systems and through replacement wear components. Rotor, stator and joint-component selection is therefore considered as part of the application from the beginning.
Tell us what you need to pump
Send ACCA your operating conditions and slurry data for pump selection and application support.
