Understanding the NE Model Designation
A complete NE identification includes the number of stages, NE family size and any model suffix. For example, in 2NE30A, 2 identifies the stage count, NE identifies the family, 30 identifies the pump size and A is the suffix. The same family size can be configured with different stage lengths, so the complete nameplate is important when evaluating a replacement pump.

Engineering a Complete Replacement Pump
Confirm the existing pump
Provide the complete model, stage count, suffix, nameplate and photographs so the installed configuration can be reviewed.
Confirm the duty
Provide flow, discharge pressure, fluid, temperature, viscosity, solids, speed and other service conditions used to size the replacement.
Confirm the installation
Provide suction/discharge connections, orientation, base dimensions, drive information and available space where drop-in compatibility is required.
