344 Configurations
The 344 family includes 34401, 34404, 34408 and 34411. The 34411 configuration uses a packing-gland arrangement; other supported configurations use mechanical-seal construction.
Temperature and Viscosity Limits
Elastomer temperature limits are 10–160°F for NBR, 10–210°F for EPDM and 10–240°F for FPM. Maximum viscosity is 20,000 cP, with allowable operating speed decreasing as viscosity increases.
Operating Notes
Do not run dry. Maintain at least 10% of rated flow for lubrication. With wetted elements, suction lift can reach 25 ft at 1750 RPM when piping matches port size.
