331 Configurations
The 331 family includes 33101, 33104 and 33108 configurations. Use the complete installed model designation when selecting a replacement because construction and wetted-component materials vary by configuration.
Temperature and Viscosity Limits
Elastomer temperature limits are 10–160°F for NBR, 10–210°F for EPDM and 10–240°F for FPM. Maximum fluid viscosity is 20,000 cP. Speed guidance is 1750 RPM at 1–300 cP, 1200 RPM at 300–1,000 cP, 700 RPM at 1,000–2,000 cP, 350 RPM at 2,000–5,000 cP, 180 RPM at 5,000–10,000 cP and 100 RPM at 10,000–20,000 cP.
Self-Priming and Lubrication
With wetted pumping elements, the pump is capable of up to 25 ft of suction lift at 1750 RPM when the suction piping matches the port size. Do not run dry; pumped liquid lubricates the pumping elements, and flow should remain at least 10% of rated capacity.
