ACCA 1L3 Progressive Cavity Pump
Complete 1-stage L3 pump for supported Moyno® 1L3 replacement applications.
The L3 pumping element has 0.80 GPM per 100 RPM theoretical displacement. The 1-stage configuration is selected for lower differential-pressure duties within the L3 family.

1L3 Pump Specifications
| Stages | 1 | Theoretical displacement | 0.80 GPM / 100 RPM |
|---|---|---|---|
| Suction | 1.50 in | Discharge | 1.25 in |
| Overall length (CP) | 23.00 in | Weight | 47 lb |
How to Read 1L3
Stage count is selected around differential-pressure requirements.
Identifies the L-Frame drive-end and pumping-element relationship.
L3 displacement is 0.80 GPM per 100 RPM.
Important: stage count affects pressure capability; it does not multiply displacement per revolution. 1L3, 2L3 and 3L3 use the same L3 theoretical displacement.
1L3 Theoretical Capacity by Speed
Actual delivered flow can be lower depending on differential pressure, viscosity, rotor/stator fit, wear and internal slip.
Materials of Construction & Type Designation
L-Frame pumps use a three-letter Type Designation to identify materials by component group. CDQ is a common standard construction, but it is only one of many available material combinations.
C Cast Iron · E Alloy CB-20 Stainless · H Hastelloy C · M Monel · S 316 Stainless Steel · W Cast Steel · X Special
D Alloy Steel · E Alloy CB-20 Stainless · G 416 Stainless · H Hastelloy C · J 17-4 PH Stainless · M Monel · S 316 Stainless · X Special
The third character identifies the stator material only; it does not identify the stator tube/casing material.
Stator Material Codes
| Code | Material Designation | Code | Material Designation |
|---|---|---|---|
| B | EPDM 300, 70 durometer | C | Buna-N 103, 50 durometer |
| D | Tool Steel | E | Buna-N 110, 70 durometer |
| F | Viton 500, 75 durometer | G | 416 Stainless Steel |
| H | Hastelloy C | J | 17-4 PH Stainless Steel |
| K | Hypalon 800, 70 durometer | M | Buna-N 100M, 70 durometer |
| P | Thiokol, 70 durometer | Q | Buna-N 100, 70 durometer |
| R | Natural Rubber 200, 55 durometer | T | Teflon, 15% glass |
| U | Urethane, 70 durometer | X | Special to application |
| Z | Buna-N 150, 70 durometer |
Example – CDQ: C = cast-iron suction housing; D = alloy-steel wetted internals; Q = Buna-N / nitrile stator. The three-letter type code should be read as a material system, not as a single fixed construction.
Stator casing: the type designation does not identify the stator tube. ACCA stator references distinguish regular-steel casing (C4 series) and stainless-steel casing (C5 series) where applicable.
Special Construction / Trim Code: Semi-standard and special-construction pumps may include a separate three-character trim code. The first character identifies sealing variations, the second identifies internal variations, and the third identifies rotor variations. When replacing a special-construction pump, provide ACCA with the complete frame, type designation and trim code.

L3 Element Engineering
The L3 pumping element displaces approximately 0.80 GPM per 100 RPM. ACCA supports the approved 1L3, 2L3 and 3L3 configurations shown on this site. Stage count changes pressure capability; it does not multiply displacement or theoretical flow.
Motor selection must account for the pumped fluid as well as differential pressure. For water-based slurries, evaluate solids concentration and particle size. For Newtonian viscous fluids, apply the L3 viscosity horsepower adder. Temperature and rotor fit can also increase starting and running horsepower requirements.
