STX Engineering Reference
Published ANSI replacement-pump data for the small frame uses a nominal 0.875-inch shaft and approximately 4-inch centerline height. Dimensional references vary by supplier and construction, so ACCA verifies the required dimensions before representing a pump or part as interchangeable with a specific installed unit.
The back-pull-out ANSI process-pump arrangement permits inspection or removal of the rotating element without disturbing connected process piping when the installation is designed accordingly. Open-impeller arrangements also permit external clearance adjustment on applicable configurations.
